Includes letter (24 Nov. 1914), from Fred W. Clough to Clarence M. Wooster discussing Mark Twain's cabin at Jackass Hill (near Angel's Camp, in Calaveras County), Calif., and Davis's interest in it; copy of letter (24 Jan. 1908), from Pres. Theodore Roosevelt to Davis regarding the establishment of a Nevada state police force; and the text of a speech celebrating the installation of electric water pumps in the lower levels of the Comstock Lode mines.
